Czech on the web and Wikipedias psychology

Ever heard of Czech language before? It was developed by the army as an secret code no one could understand. But later it developed in fully independent language, which invoked fear in eyes (and ears and tongues) of those who tried to understand that.

So here I am to help you - yeah, that's right, I'm gonna teach you Czech as a recompense for your help with my English. If you're not interested in this spectacular language, just relax: I'll write some other spot for you next time, stay tuned.

English, right? Help!

As soon as I went to my first English Camp and I met those great people from USA and UK, my attitude towards Englsish language changed completely. Instead of learning it as some foreign language, I started to study it on purpose: to be able to understand them and also to express my thoughts. (I guess this might be one of the longest sentences any blog has ever had for introducing itself :) So a year later, I was able to communicate pretty well, and what I couldn't say properly, I replaced by pantomime and those "well, you know what I mean, right?" instuments. Later I even did FCE and CAE Cambridge Exams preparation and I basicly use English language in my daily life.

But I need your help...

I'm a student of Communication Studies and Journalism at Faculty of Social Science at Charles University in Prague, Czech republic and of Ecomonomical Theories at the same faculty (sorry to bother you with these details, I just still find it kinda cool to see it written). And lately I realized, that although I can writte pretty much about anything, my knowledge of English and ability of writing an essay, column or article is pretty poor. You see, I even had to look up the word "knowledge" so I can spell it correctly! And nothing makes you write better like a good, regular writing habbit.

So here I am. This blog should be a place where I'll write about things I write at my Czech blog (http://blog.paxik.net) and also about some jokes which can't be translated. Because I just love English humour! Terry Pratchett, Dave Barry, Futurama, Knock knock jokes... So, lets have LOTF, shall we? (LOTF = Lot Of Fun Together)

Yeah, also I want to write about communication and try to create some "deep-thought" articles as well. Unless, of course, I won't have time or if I forget.
